Aviva Stadium sits on the grounds of the oldest sports stadium in Europe. It was founded by Henry Dunlop in 1872 as a multi- purpose athletics grounds. Six years later, in 1878 the first international rugby match was played between Ireland and England which also makes it the oldest rugby international test venue in the world.

 

Aviva Stadium proudly stands on this hallowed turf and continues to forge its own legacy hosting world class events throughout the year.
